How We’re Shaping a Better Future

Through our programs, we’re creating tangible changes in the lives of these children, promoting independence, inclusivity, and adaptability. Here’s a snapshot of the outcomes we’ve achieved.

Building Awareness and Authority

We’ve generated widespread awareness through strategic collaborations with top-tier institutions and media outlets. By participating in educational publications and partnering with renowned organizations, we’ve raised awareness about the unique challenges faced by children without arms. These efforts have helped amplify our mission, showcasing the need for tailored support and innovative solutions for this community. This visibility helps us reach more families and donors, giving every child access to the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Nurturing Strength and Self-Sufficiency

By developing and distributing life-changing tools like our custom-designed dressing hooks, we’ve made a significant impact on children’s ability to live and play independently. Many children now experience quicker dressing times, enhanced self-efficacy, and greater independence thanks to these tools. At the same time, our online skill development platform empowers children and their caregivers to master critical adaptability skills, with improvements in self-confidence and quality of life.

Seeing my son's face, being able to dress independently for the first time, was priceless!

The highlight of my week was watching my student get her pants up and down by herself! She was a pro. We watched your racing video…then she went right to town with a big smile on her face! We just need to work on her being able to position the hook tightly to the wall.

Yesterday we went to a restaurant, and it was the first time in 10 years that I didn’t have to go into the bathroom with her, and it was so cool!

Community Engagement and Collaboration

Through our partnerships with universities, we’ve been able to engage the next generation of inclusive thinkers, fostering innovation in solving critical challenges faced by children with upper bilateral limb differences. These collaborations have resulted in the development of new devices and tools that continue to make a difference. We actively listen to our community members, gathering feedback to improve our programs and ensure we are meeting their needs.
